Rehabilitation around the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome, Italy
Underground parking, road design and landscape
CLIENT: ICS GRANDI LAVORI S.p.A.
VALUE: € 24,000,000.00
This urban rehabilitation project involved the completion of landscaping works in the area around the Ara Pacis museum in Rome, and the construction of a three-storey underground parking facility of individual garages and public parking spaces. The design also included technical areas required to house the structure's functional apparatus and spaces to be assigned to local services such as information points, sanitary facilities and ticket offices.
The project was developed in full compliance with the physical and environmental constraints deriving from its particular location, integrated within the landscaping along the banks of the Tiber River.
