PERIOD: 2011 - ongoing
CLIENT: AUTOSTRADA BRESCIA VERONA VICENZA PADOVA S.p.A.
VALUE: € 1,769,000.00
The project involves the design of the A31 highway northward extension for a 39.10 km long stretch.
The aim of the design was to create an infrastructure able to combine the functional and the strategic roles with the environmental and territorial integration.
The route runs for the most part in tunnel ensuring a high degree of integration from the perceptual point of view. The structures of particular value, which are foreseen for the open sections, contribute to enhance the territory.
The track starts at the current terminal of the A31 and is linked to the A22 within the municipal territory of Besenello in the Province of Trento.
The main structures are:
- 11 Tunnels: 8 Natural Tunnels (7 with traditional excavation, 1 with mechanized excavation) and 3 Artifi cial Tunnels
- 10 Viaducts
- Minor structures.
