This project involved the environmental impact assessment and the design of a new wheel-based light transit system consisting of two lines:
Line 1: connection between the Latina Scalo rail station and the Latina central bus station;
Line 2: connection between the residential areas to the west of the city and the terminus situated near the central bus station, and the nearby depot in Viale Giulio Cesare.
Line 1 begins in the plaza in front of the Latina Scalo station and travels to the central bus station and depot to be realised in an area situated nearby.
Line 2 will serve as an integration to Line 1, from the same terminus at the central bus station and connecting the City of Latina with Nuova Latina.
The total length of the new tramline is approximately 16 km.
