MEP and Systems
Long experience in the field has taught us that addressing technological systems and facilities from the early stages of the project – integrating architectural and structural design with the technological advice of 3TI's team of specialists – yields significant added value, reduced costs, and a final project which is much closer to client expectations, by enabling timely evaluation of technological issues.
3TI PROGETTI's staff includes expert consultants in areas such as mechanical, electrical and management control systems, aspects of which can have severe implications on project budget, schedule and design changes if not duly considered. We can monitor and address these issues immediately, avoiding the major repercussions of a belated approach. Our plant engineering technicians' efforts are integrated with other designers to inform all design decisions, significantly increasing functionality and improving the final result.
Lighting design is also an integral part of the project and must be considered not only in view of technical and functional requirements (in keeping with applicable regulations) but also as a critical element in the modeling of space, both interior and exterior or urban: enhancing the image of the city. Artificial lighting design must be related to and integrated with the architectural qualities of its urban context, characterizing a 'by night' image and enhancing pedestrian areas, streets, squares and monuments, highlighting typical architectural and historical colors. The lighting plan as such aims to imagine the visual relationships – both structural and symbolic – ordering the nocturnal vision of the urban area.
3TI devotes particular attention, in this context as in others, to reducing energy consumption. We incorporate this aspect with design considerations for safety (both pedestrian and vehicular) and visual quality of the environment, to select the most suitable fixtures and optimize the efficiency, operation and routine maintenance of the proposed systems.
