Refurbishing of the former flour Mill

Refurbishing of the former flour Mill

The project involves the refurbishment of the buildings of the former mill complex, built at different times until its closure in 1968. Through a careful study of the structures and recovering and putting back into use the existing buildings, the project submitted is aimed at restoring the complex as part of the life of the village, giving it the function of a new ‘production’, ‘preservation’ and ‘valorisation’ centre for the identity, culture, traditions and products of the area. The ‘old mill’ building will become a centre for the promotion of the typical farming and food products of the area, while the ‘new mill’ building will be reconverted to a museum, a tourist promotion centre and a laboratory for local arts and traditions, with display areas and multi-functional areas for different local and social activities.
