3TI at EFCA General Assembly and Conference in Madrid

alfredo ingletti, 3TI Chairman and FIDIC – International Federation of Consulting Engineers Vice-President, OICE Vice-president, and fidic-efca liaison responsible and maria scala, 3TI Director of Sustainability Department, attended the EFCA – European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations General Assembly and Conference in Madrid on 23-24 May 2024 with Catherine Karakatsanis, M.E.Sc, P.Eng, FEC,FCAE, ICD.D, LL.D, Fidic’s president, and Marco Ragusa, head of the OICE international Affairs.

The event explored the EU «Blue Deal», focusing on harnessing nature to address climate emergencies and the role of consulting engineers in clean energy production. Sessions covered energy infrastructure, climate impact management, and best practices in public procurement.

Since we always encourage young talent in the field of engineering, we were very happy to attend the ‘Future Leaders Competition Winners 2024’ announcement, in which Robert Corbally was awarded as best presented project winner, Diego Apellániz was awarded as overall winner and Matias Hirvikoski was awarded as digital & new technologies winner.
