Budućnost gradnje 2026 (Future of Construction): infrastructure, sustainability and dialogue

On May 21, 3TI Progetti took part in Budućnost gradnje 2026, held at Hotel Zonar Zagreb and promoted by OICE, @officialopportunitaly, @itatradeagency and the Embassy of Italy in Zagreb to foster dialogue on the future of construction, infrastructure investment and sustainability.

Giorgia Gunnella, board member of OICE, Senior Partner & Director of International Division at 3TI Progetti, represented OICE at the conference, bringing the perspective of Italian engineering companies to the discussion with the speech “Building the Future: Infrastructure and Sustainability”.

Her contribution addressed infrastructure transformation as a complex challenge where sustainability, affordability and reliability need to move together. From digitalisation and innovation to technical expertise and financial resources, the role of engineering companies is increasingly central in shaping integrated solutions, particularly in rail and metro systems, where sustainable mobility, reduced environmental impact and network efficiency can generate long-term value.

The event offered an important opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between Italy and Croatia, two countries linked by strategic proximity, shared infrastructure priorities and a common interest in sustainable growth.
