3TI Progetti in the Middle East: a decade of shared visions and landmark projects

The latest issue of Compasses Architecture&Design provides an opportunity to reflect on our journey in the Middle East over the last ten years. This feature explores how we have worked alongside our clients, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) and the ARRIYADH DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, contributing to the region’s extraordinary infrastructural transformation.

Our experience in the Gulf, from the Doha Metro (Qatar) to the Riyadh Metro Line 3 (Saudi Arabia), has been a profound learning curve in delivering complex, large-scale projects:
– Integrated design: In Doha, as Lead Designer for the Red Line South, we managed over 900 federated BIM models, ensuring precision in a highly demanding environment.
– A collaborative approach: Supporting goals like Saudi Vision 2030 has allowed us to integrate international engineering standards with the unique cultural identity of the region.
– Infrastructure for people: we see these projects as more than just engineering challenges; they are opportunities to create social value and landmarks that belong to the community.
