“Providing designs to rapidly ramp up intensive and sub intensive care beds in numerous hospitals right in the middle of the pandemic, coming up with answers at a time of an enduring, national-level crisis, was an extremely complex two-year challenge. I had to tackle hither to unknown issues and engage in dialogue with countless interlocutors. I targeted my focus on understanding needs and technical issues in order to arrive at a synthesis and achieve our goals. Along the way, I realized that in our craft, which can sometimes be challenging and stressful, we generate much-needed value.”
