When culture becomes infrastructure

The winning proposal for the regeneration of Turin’s Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM) has now been officially presented, bringing renewed attention to one of Italy’s most significant cultural redevelopment projects.

3TI Progetti is proud to have contributed to the international competition as part of the multidisciplinary team led by Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra Arquitecto S.L.P., together with @proapworld , @gtrf.tortelli.frassoni, @seingim.engineering, @diapasoningegneria , Geologist Marco Giovannozzi and Alessandro Zichi, achieving third place in the final ranking.

The competition explored different visions for transforming the GAM into an open, accessible and contemporary cultural institution, strengthening the relationship between architecture, public space and the city.

Congratulations to the winning team and to all the professionals involved in a competition that highlights the strategic role of design in enhancing cultural heritage and shaping the future of our cities.
