How have healthcare facilities evolved?

The latest issue of Progettare per la Sanità features our article “The New Geography of Care”, dedicated to 3TI Progetti’s experience in designing community healthcare networks.

The transition from a hospital-centred system to an integrated model of local care is redefining healthcare infrastructure. Community Health Centres, Community Hospitals and Territorial Operations Centres form connected networks that bring services closer to citizens and ensure continuity between hospitals, local facilities and home care.

The article explores this transformation through several projects developed by 3TI Progetti: the adaptive reuse of the former Robbiani Hospital in Soresina, the new healthcare facilities developed for ASL Caserta and the integrated healthcare complex under construction in Montesilvano.
Despite their different contexts, the projects share a common objective: creating accessible, flexible and digitally integrated facilities that respond to environmental requirements and the needs of their communities.
