A historic landmark returned to the city

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the restoration works at the Arco di Cristo Re in Messina, returning an important symbol of the city’s historic heritage to the community.

Restoring a historic site means more than preserving its physical structure. It means safeguarding a place of memory, identity and belonging, strengthening the connection between past and future while ensuring that shared cultural heritage remains part of the life of the city.

This achievement was made possible thanks to the collaboration between institutions, design teams, construction companies and all the professionals involved, including @sperispa and @alcotec.spa, united by a shared commitment to the protection and enhancement of the site.
