Green Building Council Forum
Urban regeneration is not just about buildings. It’s about people and nature.
The Second Green Building Council Forum brought together policymakers and industry experts to explore how urban development can respond to today’s environmental and social challenges. 3TI was represented by Francesca Salvador, Senior Partner and Director of General Buildings Division, Maria Scala, Partner and Director of Sustainable Development, and Agnese Perego, Partner and Associate Director of General Buildings Division.
Creating more sustainable cities means designing infrastructure and shared spaces that strengthen communities and enable citizens to participate fully in social and economic life. Discussions addressed the structural challenges facing the private residential sector, the integration of Nature-Based Solutions and the need to accelerate regulatory reforms in Italy to promote zero-energy buildings and reduce CO₂ emissions.
As Maria Scala highlighted: “Social impact must increasingly be given the same consideration as environmental impact. Shared urban spaces should be an active and integral part of everyday life, providing tangible responses to the needs of the entire community.”
Thank you, to Green Building Council Italia, for organising this event and for its continued commitment to turning sustainability principles into concrete action.
