The transformation of the Vele di Scampia is a key pillar of the Italian Government’s suburban rehabilitation program.
As part of this ambitious redevelopment, 3TI Progetti, in JV with Servizi Integrati S.R.L (lead designer), is contributing with its expertise in integrated design, health & safety management, works supervision, and site assistance for:
🏗️ Demolition of Sails A, C, and D, removing decayed structures to make way for new urban functions
🏠 Renovation of Sail B (Sail Blue) to provide temporary housing solutions
🌍 Sustainable urban design to enhance livability and environmental quality
🏢 Transformation of the Sail A site into a modern public square with offices, shops, parking, and student housing
With a €100M investment and a five-year timeline, this project represents a major step toward a more connected, inclusive, and livable district.
The goal is to create sustainable public spaces, improve mobility, and introduce green areas to enhance community well-being.
