New Municipal Library – The ‘Posa del Primo Libro’

The ‘Posa del Primo Libro’ event offered a unique glimpse into the revitalisation of the former Atac SpA depot into the new Municipal Library on Via della Lega Lombarda, a key element of the urban regeneration plan for the ‘Città del Sole’. This special occasion -with the presence of the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, the President of Municipality II Francesca del Bello and the Councillor for Culture of Municipality II Fabrizio Rufo- featured guided tours, a captivating light installation by Cristian Rizzuti and even a symbolic ‘laying’ of the first book by community members.

3TI Progetti, in charge of structural and MEP construction supervision of the project—led by Michele Amerio, Senior Partner and Director of the Infrastructure & Energy Division and Andrea Ferrari, Architect and Project Coordinator—is proud to contribute its expertise to bring this vision to life, creating a modern and accessible space for Rome.

The event’s success also highlighted the collaborative effort between 3TI Progetti, Roma Capitale, C.C.C. Costruzioni Civili Cerasi, Labics and Fondazione Gianfranco Dioguardi.
