RFI’s Railway Accessibility Revamped for Rome’s Jubilee 2025
Our work has been featured in the latest issue of Strade & Autostrade, highlighting the Restyling and Requalification projects commissioned by our client, @rfi_reteferroviariaitaliana , for key railway stations in Rome, with a deep dive into Roma San Pietro and Roma Trastevere.
These RFI projects, planned for the Jubilee 2025, and with 3TI Progetti involved in the executive design, aim to improve and enhance accessibility and intermodality at strategically central locations in Rome and its province.
In detail:
• At Roma San Pietro, works are now completed, including the regulatory compliance of the main staircase, the renewal of finishes, and the enhancement of canopies.
• At Roma Trastevere, current construction involves opening a second southern access (Marconi side) and building a new eastern underpass using the non-stop “pushing technique” (a spinta) to maintain railway operations during construction.
