Apron Upgrade & Expansion at Foggia “Gino Lisa” Airport – Executive Design Approved!

On September 23, 2025, ENAC officially approved the executive design for the upgrade and expansion of the aircraft apron at Foggia “Gino Lisa” Airport — a key milestone for enhancing airport capacity and supporting regional mobility in Apulia.

The project includes:

• full reconfiguration of aircraft stands and new pavement

• upgrade of airfield ground lighting systems

• installation of new high-efficiency LED floodlight towers

• enhanced stormwater collection and reuse system

• reorganization of service roads and installation of blast fences

The design fully complies with Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), adopting recycled materials, energy-efficient technologies, water-reuse systems and responsible construction-waste management practices.
