Architettura Materia Territorio: exploring stone between design, production and landscape

Stone as material, process and landscape was at the centre of Architettura Materia Territorio, the two-day private event to which 3TI Progetti was invited by @grassipietre and @architectureinsights_ .

On June 18-19, Federica Stravato, Partner & Senior Architect of General Buildings Division, and Ilaria Moscarelli, Senior Architect of General Buildings Division at 3TI Progetti, took part in an experience that brought together design culture, production processes and territory.

The event included visits to Grassi Pietre’s headquarters, showroom and “materioteca”, followed by Leopoldo Pieropan Winery, an architectural project where stone defines the long, articulated façade. The itinerary continued with an active quarry and the magnificent Villa La Rotonda by Andrea Palladio, offering a journey through the value of stone across history and contemporary practice.

It offered a broader dialogue on material, project and territory, sharing perspectives with professionals on what lies behind architecture, beyond conventional formats.
