Are the consular roads the key assets for the regeneration of Rome, the City of Tomorrow?

We are pleased to share that alfredo ingletti, President of FIDIC and Vice President of OICE, attended the event “Roma Consolari, un progetto visionario per la città”, promoted by INARCH Nazionale for Rome, held yesterday at MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo as part of the broader Conference “Città nel futuro 2023–2050.”

This initiative represents a new vision for the city of Rome, based on the dialogue between designers and Institutions with the main goal of driving its regeneration through the requalification of the ancient consular roads creating livable urban spaces for citizens. In this context, the designer has got a central role, not only as a technical expert but as a key figure in shaping inclusive, sustainable, and forward-looking urban environments.

Alfredo Ingletti, as member of the initiative Think Tank, shared his insights on the city’s historical identity and its future development, highlighting the importance of engineering and architecture in fostering sustainable growth.

This event served as a relevant platform for discussing innovative approaches to urban regeneration demonstrating how a visionary planning can enhance urban quality and improve citizens’ well-being.
