Bilateral Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine

Alfredo ingletti, our chairman, founding partner and vice-president of OICE , attended the “Bilateral Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine” in #Rome, coordinating the panel discussion about infrastructure engineering, energy and environment fields.

“The energy sector is very important for the reconstruction of #Ukraine, a field in which #Italy can play a key role. Not only because many important public companies such as Enel Group and Terna SpA have the know-how and investment capacity to be able to actively participate in the reconstruction. But also because Italian engineering and architecture companies have great expertise that they can provide to Ukraine and the multilateral investment banks that will provide the funds to carry out the construction works. The bombing have disrupted energy transmission lines in Ukraine and damaged power generation sites. Moreover, the country is an important center of energy supply for all of Europe and consequently for Italy. So we are talking about a crucial sector, and Italy has the ideal expertise to make its contribution” said Ingletti.

We are very proud to have participated at this conference where around 700 people representing Italian and Ukrainian companies, institutions and organizations gathered to respond to the needs of the country and its refugees.
