Civil Protection of the hydraulic system in Emilia-Romagna, Italy

3TI Progetti as Leader of the JV including SPERI, EY and EY Engineering & Tecnical Services S.r.l is actively supporting the Territorial Unit of Civil Protection in the restoration and enhancement of the hydraulic protection system across more than 50 km of riverbanks affected by extreme weather events since May 2023.

The project involves multiple key activities, including:

1. Technical and administrative engineering consultancy, ensuring smooth coordination between emergency interventions and PNRR-funded projects.
2. Georeferenced surveys and drone-based mapping, enabling precise data collection for targeted interventions.
3. Design activities and hydraulic modelling, aimed to restore riverbanks while improving flood resilience.
4. Structural reinforcement and stabilization measures, preventing further erosion and safeguarding nearby communities.

This intervention plays a vital role in mitigating hydrogeological risk, strengthening water management strategies, and enhancing environmental resilience. 💧
