Santa Croce Hospital in Fano: record pace for the new Emergency Department building
At Santa Croce Hospital in Fano, the construction site of the new Emergency Department building is progressing faster than expected under the PNRR timeline, confirming the value of a coordinated process where design, construction supervision and technical management support the delivery of a complex healthcare infrastructure.
The intervention responds to a strategic need for the regional healthcare network: Santa Croce is the hospital that manages the highest number of red code cases in the region. This makes the new facility essential to strengthen emergency care, clinical continuity and operational efficiency.
3TI Progetti is responsible for the design and construction supervision of the intervention, with @sperispa, for @regione_marche. The project stands as a model of excellence both for its design quality and for the management of a construction site that is moving ahead of schedule.
The new 4,200 sqm building, developed within an intervention area of approximately 8,800 sqm, will integrate emergency care, short intensive observation, diagnostics, intensive and sub intensive care, coronary intensive care and the operating block. At the base of the building, the seismic isolation system will support safety, resilience and continuity of care even in emergency conditions, together with dedicated plant systems and an independent underground tunnel connecting the new facility to the existing hospital.
