A new milestone for Human Technopole in Milan
The detailed design for the new Human Technopole building has been approved, marking an important step forward in developing the institute’s campus at MIND Milano Innovation District.
Human Technopole is Italy’s research institute for life sciences, built around an integrated and interdisciplinary approach that connects experimental research, theory, computation and advanced technologies. By supporting the study of human biology and disease, the institute aims to advance scientific knowledge and contribute to improving human health and well-being.
The new building will become the main hub for scientific laboratories and a central part of the Human Technopole campus, providing new spaces to support this growing research ecosystem. More than 16,500 sqm will be dedicated exclusively to research laboratories, as part of a building with an overall surface of 35,000 sqm.
Developed in BIM, the project is designed to combine highly specialised research environments with a modern workplace, integrating sustainability into its design. The building’s LEED Gold certification reflects its commitment to environmental performance and sustainable construction.
3TI Progetti developed the Detailed Design for Principia s.p.a., contributing to a highly specialised research building at the heart of MIND Milano Innovation District.
