IAQVEC 2019. 3TI and the Bisceglie School @ Politecnico di Bari

IAQVEC 2019. 3TI and the Bisceglie School @ Politecnico di Bari

Floriana Calise, Senior Sustainability Consultant, will participate in the Iaqvec 2019 conference from September 5th to the 7th at Politecnico di Bari, representing 3TI Progetti’s sustainability group. After the Prague and Seoul editions, this year laqvec will also focus its scientific activity on the themes of indoor air quality, ventilation, and building energy savings. The topic for 2019 is buildings with near-zero energy consumption.

The Bisceglie school project, designed by 3ti Progetti with the architect Luca Peralta, will be among the highlights of the conference. On September 5th, Enea’s Monica Misceo, along with Peralta himself, among others, will present a talk entitled “Analysis of energy performances of a nZEB Kindergarten in Bisceglie (Apulia)”. The project represents an important model of sustainable school construction, including the use of recycled materials and low energy consumption, which was recently included in the nZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) almanac of buildings, and will soon be the subject of a degree thesis carried out in conjunction with Bari Polytechnic University, Enea, and 3ti Progetti. Iaqvec will be an important opportunity to address issues that 3ti devotes particular attention to, both in the design and construction phase, thanks to an internal team of experts that was formed over a year ago dedicated to sustainability in engineering and architecture.
