The Lungo Tenna Link Road featured in Strade & Autostrade

How can a new road connection improve mobility while protecting the river ecosystem it crosses?

Our article published in Strade & Autostrade explores this question through the Lungo Tenna Link Road: a new 1.7 km route connecting the A14 motorway interchange at Porto Sant’Elpidio with the SP 224.

At the heart of the project is a 190-metre steel arch bridge, with a 120-metre central span and no piers in the riverbed. The solution was developed to ensure hydraulic safety and biodiversity protection in the Tenna River valley, while improving local connections and integrating cycle and pedestrian paths along the route.
