Cluj-Napoca Airport

ClCluj-Napoca airport project is co-funded by the TEN-T (Trans-European Transport Network) EU Programme. The aim of the project is to define the location of the following functional areas:

• Airside cargo area;

• Railway cargo area;

• Connection between airside and railway cargo area;

• Passenger railway station;

• Connection between station and terminal.

3TI has been assigned the task of peer review as consultant of the Feasibility studies, including the preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment and Masterplan, of Cluj-Napoca Airport in Romania. Among services provided by 3TI are: verification of compatibility with existing planning instruments on site; analysis of the current productive contest; analysis of nowadays and future supply/demand; brief analysis of construction techniques; indication of the technical standards to be applied; rough estimate of the costs of the intervention.
