‘Luigi Sacco’Hospital
The project includes two areas of intervention:
Pavilion CF01: regarding the construction of two metal carpentry staircases necessary to comply with fire regulations, both of which will connect the street level with the mezzanine and first floor.
CF16 Pavilion: the new building follows the shape of the available plot, which previously hosted the old CF16, making full use of the space. A modern design is used to create an internal patio with green areas and trees, allowing patients to enjoy a private and safe open-air space, separated from the enclosed areas of the building by glass curtain walls. The building will have two floors and a basement: the ground floor will house Nephrology and Dialysis, the first floor will be for Endoscopy and outpatient clinics, and the basement will contain changing rooms and equipment rooms.
A system of photovoltaic panels installed on the roof will meet a significant portion of the facility’s energy needs.
