Water supply and sanitation project

The project reviews the Feasibility Study of the technical, financial and economic viability of the three towns, preparing a nationwide Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (RWSS) to facilitate the mobilisation of financial support and to provide a detailed implementation program for the improvement of rural water supply and sanitation levels.

Main targets:
– an economically and technically sound Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS) project for the towns of Makeni, Bo and Kenema;
– an assessment of the country’s rural water supply and sanitation situation;
– a Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) program with an Action Plan wich includes the Identification and Development of a Priority Scheme based on a Pilot Project.
