Railway Doubling Ponte S. Pietro–Bergamo–Montello – Phase 1

3TI Progetti, part of the 3AS Consortium alongside SPERI and Alcotec SpA, in jv with agronomist Simone Amantia Scuderi, is involved in the development of the detailed design and detailed executive design for the enhancement of one of the most strategic railway sections in Lombardy.
The project, promoted by RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and included in the Lombardy Regional Mobility Programme, is aimed at improving the capacity and efficiency of the regional railway network.
Following the approval of the executive project for section B2 last July, the works have officially been handed over for construction.
Current activities include:
• clearance of unexploded ordnance;
• resolution of interfering underground utilities;
• construction of the new railway bridge on Via Fermi (Curno) and its associated road and pedestrian/cycle infrastructure;
• new railway bridges on Via San Bernardino and Via dei Caniana (Bergamo);
• removal of the railway track along the Ponte S. Pietro–Bergamo section.
The construction works have been entrusted to the contractor grouping led by D’Agostino Costruzioni Generali , with E.LU.S. S.r.l. (JV Partner).
Through integrated design and the use of BIM, we are contributing to a more efficient and sustainable transport system in the province of Bergamo.
