The restoration of the former Convent of San Francesco

🏛️ The restoration of the former Convent of San Francesco in Velletri (RM), the property of Agenzia del Demanio is revitalizing a significant historical landmark.

Developed in JV with @PAOLO ROCCHI & PARTNERS srl and engineer Matteo Anderlini, this project aims to transform the abandoned convent and cloister into modern offices for the Agenzia delle Entrate and Guardia di Finanza while preserving its architectural integrity.

Given the building’s protected status, the intervention focused on integrating essential mechanical systems—previously absent—while respecting conservation requirements.

The project also includes:
• structural reinforcement;
• full-scale restoration;
• fire prevention upgrades;
• accessibility improvements complying with current regulations.
