Updates on Metro Line 6 in Bucharest

Proud to share the updates on the project involving the design and execution of the civil works for Lot 1.2 of the Metro Line 6 in Bucharest, Romania. The lot covers a 7.60 km length and includes 6 underground metro stations, from Tokyo Station (exclusive) to Otopeni Airport Station, along with the associated tunnels.

3TI Progetti, together with TPF INGENIERÍA, is the nominated designer of the consortium led by Gülermak Heavy Industries Construction & Contracting Co. Inc for the Design & Build of Lot 1.2 of the M6 line. Our responsibilities include developing the concept design, preparing the technical documentation required to obtain the building permit, developing the technical and detailed design providing technical assistance during construction and preparing the As-Built documents.

Construction works started in December 2024 with Bratianu Station and are progressing on the remaining stations according to the work schedule.
