Premio “Tesi di Laurea Ingenio al Femminile”

Why have we decided to support the “Premio Tesi di Laurea Ingenio al Femminile”?

We have once again chosen to support the “Ingenio al Femminile” Award because it is a valuable opportunity to concretely promote female talent and support women pursuing professional careers in STEM.

Encouraging new generations to approach technical and scientific fields means contributing to a more inclusive, innovative and forward-looking industry.

At 3TI, we strongly believe that technical skills have no gender. Every day, we are committed to building an inclusive corporate culture based on respect, equal opportunities and the enhancement of diversity. We strive to foster a working environment free from discrimination and prejudice, where everyone’s uniqueness can emerge, grow and contribute to shared value.

Our female professionals, thanks to their technical competencies and soft skills, make a unique contribution to the company growth by stimulating creativity, collaboration and innovation. A tangible impact, evidenced by the steady increase in the number of women partners in recent years.

3TI Back to School

Why did we launch “3TI Back to School: Next Generation STEM”?

Inspiring the Next Generation

We believe the future is built first and foremost in classrooms.

Traditional career guidance is no longer enough. Today’s students need more than brochures or lists of potential career paths: they need the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, hear real experiences, and understand what it truly means to choose and build a technical career over time.

It is from this belief that “3TI Back to School: Next Generation STEM” was created, an initiative designed to bring not only information into schools, but also direct, real-world experience.

Our engineers and architects meet with students to share first-hand accounts of the projects they have worked on, the challenges they have overcome, the responsibilities they have taken on, and the goals they have achieved.

3TI is an environment where multidisciplinary expertise comes together to develop complex solutions. Every day, professionals with different backgrounds and perspectives collaborate on major projects involving infrastructure, cities, and territorial development.

With “Back to School”, we are making this collective expertise available to younger generations, offering students direct dialogue with professionals working in the field. The first edition of the initiative featured three female engineers,
reflecting the increasingly central and authoritative role
women play in the engineering sector, a presence that 3TI actively values and promotes. Our goal is to show what it truly means today to work as an engineer or architect: a profession that requires technical expertise, strategic vision, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Engineering is a discipline where technical rigour meets vision: this balance is what transforms ideas into concrete projects. The hope is that young people will perceive it not as a limitation, but as an extraordinary opportunity to make a difference in the world.”

Maria Teresa navarra, Senior Partner and Director of Infrastructure & Energy Division

Introducing young peopleto engineering means demonstrating the complexity and value of a profession that has a tangible impact on society. It is trough this exchange between experience and education that the future of the sector is built”

Sara Di Pompeo, Partner and PMP® Certified Project Manager of Infrastructure & Energy Division

Engineering is first and foremost a way of looking at the world: with method, courage and ambition. Bringing this perspective into schools means investing in the generations that will be responsible for shaping the future and transforming ideas into tangible change.”

Livia Capobianchi, Partner, Senior Engineer and Contract Manager
