Municipal Library on Via della Lega Lombarda

This project is part of the urban regeneration plan for the ‘Città del Sole’, located in the eastern sector of Rome between Tiburtina and Verano.

The library, conceived as the completion of this ambitious project, aims to redevelop the area of the former ATAC depot on Via della Lega Lombarda, preserving its industrial atmosphere.

The project involves the construction of two levels: a ground floor and a mezzanine, for a total of approximately 1,560 square meters of internal space and 35 square meters of external space.

The spaces have been designed to be open, bright, and flexible, so that they can be easily adapted to different uses without the need for substantial structural modifications.
