Poste Italiane Hub, Naples

The project is part of the Poste Italiane’s reorganization plan known as the ‘Piano Città di Napoli’ (Naples City Plan).
The complex, which was built in the late 1980s to be used as a postal mechanization center, presents all the features required to meet the new needs of the property and, in particular Building A, to house SDA’s activities and the installation of new equipment capable of optimizing and increasing the efficiency of mechanized sorting processes.
The possibility of using large outdoor spaces also made it possible to locate the performance of production activities according to current loading/unloading methods. The industrial complex of Via Galileo Ferraris is thus oriented to play a central role in the development of a flexible and capillary logistics network, with buildings with planimetric and spatial characteristics oriented to the development of Smart Spaces.
