Waterfront Fano

The project aims to the requalification of the marginal area of south city characterized by the presence of the railway, through the sustainable urban regeneration that focuses the public spaces as principal instrument of a redevelopment process.

The project, in fact, consists in the improvement of the waterfront that plays a strategic role aiming at integrating and connecting the urban context with the seaside area, representing also a public space for the community, activities and events.

The idea of the masterplan is a network of public spaces reconnecting the areas through the use of light mobility, the improvement of accessibility to the beach and a creation of areas with public equipment, exhibition spaces and urban parks that can contribute to a new identity for the area.
