Railway sections LOT 1 Cluj – Napoca -Aghires / LOT 2 Aghires – Poieni

3TI Progetti, in JV with C. Arex Lider Company SRL and S.C. Baicons Impex SRL, signs two contracts for a total amount of around 6 mln euro with the National Railway Company CFR SA for works supervision of the railway sections LOT 1 Cluj – Napoca -Aghires km 500+749 – km 531+160 and LOT 2 Aghires – Poieni km 531+160 – km 567+690, with a total length of 66.94 km.

The project is part of the investment “Railway line Cluj-Napoca – Oradea – Episcopia Bihor renovation” financed by PNRR funds, being also included in the Investment Plan for the development of railway infrastructure for the period 2020 – 2030.

The biggest goals that will be pursued are to:
– reduce the time required to travel and increase the average speed;
– improve the safety conditions of rail traffic;
– improve the connectivity of the rail network
– reduce the negative impact on the environment to a minimum;
– comfort and safety of the passengers.
