Strade & Autostrade has published a full article on the progress of work on Milan’s new M4 Blue subway line. “The new infrastructure will provide a fast link between the East and South-West areas of the city,” said 3TI’s Technical Director Fabrizio Angelini, part of the joint venture team in charge of Health and Safety Management. “The M4 line will cover a distance of more than 15 km between Linate airport and central Milan, with 21 stations, 29 service facilities and a warehouse/depository (total value: € 1.25 billions).

More than 50% of the tunnels on the line have already been built and the opening of the entire route is scheduled for 2022.
