Iasi International Airport

The new configuration of the terminal establishes Iasi airport as a strategic infrastructure of the North-East region of Romania, aiming at the modernization and expansion of the existing terminal, located 7 km east of the city center.

The airport consists of 4 terminals: T1 for administrative spaces, T2 for check-in area, T3 terminal reconfigured for local traffic, T4 new terminal for international traffic.

The new terminal will be about 35,000 smq distributed on three levels and it increase its capacity up to 3,5 million passengers per year, improving the travel experience for who choose the services of this Airport.

It will include as modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art scanning facilities and equipment, as well 20 check-in desks, 8 self-check-in systems, 5 security screening filters and 1 VIP, 3 Arrivals gates, 7 boarding gates, a VIP lounge and a business lounge.
